Sur RMC, ce mercredi, Jérôme Rothen n'a pas mâché ses mots à l'encontre du PSG et de Christophe Galtier, battus ce mardi soir, au Parc des Princes, par le Bayern Munich (1-0).
En colère, l'ancien joueur du PSG (2004-2010) a évoqué avec des mots durs la prestation de l'équipe francilienne face au Bayern : “Est-ce que la défaite est honteuse ? Oui, pour le club, pour ce que doit représenter ce club en Europe. Le club a un slogan : ‘Rêvons plus grand'. Mais on rêve de moins en moins. Paris rêve petit. C'est la même chose chaque année. (…) Tu peux perdre un match, tu peux tomber sur plus fort. Mais je suis tellement déçu. J'ai honte. Au Parc des Princes, devant ton public, avec un tifo fantastique, tu commences le match avec un dispositif tactique tiré par les cheveux et il ne se passe rien. C'est pire qu'un match de Coupe de France. Tu t'appelles le PSG et tu veux gagner la Ligue des Champions en jouant comme ça ?”
De son côté, Emmanuel Petit, l'ancien milieu de l'AS Monaco, d'Arsenal et de Chelsea, a pesté contre la direction du club : “C'est une honte par rapport au projet qu'on essaie de nous vendre. C'est la quête de l'image plus que du résultat. Le PSG ne peut pas se résumer seulement à Kylian Mbappé. (…) On peut parler de problèmes de gestion sportive à Paris, tout en demandant à la direction : c'est quoi votre objectif ? Vendre des maillots ou avoir un palmarès européen ?”
Galtier dans le viseur
Déjà chahuté par Daniel Riolo, Christophe Galtier a cette fois-ci était attaqué par Jérôme Rothen : “Il a eu tout faux, du début à la fin”. Le consultant de RMC reproche notamment au coach natif de Marseille une “câlinothérapie” trop prononcée, alors que les joueurs auraient besoin d'être secoués.
“Offensivement, c'était le néant total. Il a faux sur toute la ligne. Il a montré beaucoup de limites, à lui de se rattraper. Il m'a extrêmement déçu, j'espère qu'il fera son autocritique” a conclu Jérôme Rothen.
Christophe Galtier disputera le match retour, à Munich, le 8 mars. Avant cela, le PSG va affronter Lille, l'OM puis Nantes en L1.
